SITE UPDATE 31.01.2001
Dear friend

Your Intrepid Reporter has visited the camp site and therefore we have some more pictures in the gallery. Actually the visit was a while ago but it's been pretty hectic here in Website Central, hence the delay.

Now to more serious business ..... it looks like D-day for the camp site this Friday! After nearly a year of messing about what with one side or the other not being quite ready, it now looks as though a final decision will be made regarding the future of Lees Cross and Endcliffe quarries on Friday 2 February. This may very well go against Stancliffe, in which case everyone can get back to what they were doing before ..... but there is always the possibility that the decision could go in favour of Stancliffe, which will mean that an eviction could be on the cards. We will therefore require people to be ready and able to help. That means batteries on charge in camcorders and phones, locks oiled and keys checked, polybags ready, and transport gassed up ready to go. We hope we don't have to, of course, but it's always important to be prepared. If you can help with an eviction, please call the camp site mobile directly. Don't e-mail us - we can't get through to the camp site any quicker than you can.

That's all for now,
The Nine Ladies Web Site Team
