There willl be a public meeting on 27 October 2000 at which the Nine Ladies Anti-Quarry
Campaign have been granted a three-minute slot. It is being organised by the Peak District NPA
(http://www.peakdistrict.org/) - unfortunately we can't seem to
find the time or venue, but we'll give them a bell tomorrow and find out .....
Our ISP seem to have resolved the e-mail issue, judging by the following:

SUBJECT:
zoom mailserver upgrade - important message
Dear Zoom User,
As we notified you during the weekend, on Monday night,
9/10/2000, we upgraded to a new, faster, mail server.
The process of transfering the contents of the old inboxes
into the new server has taken us longer than anticipated due
to unforeseeable systems issues. However we would like to
assure you that the migration has now been completed and you
should have access to the old contents of your inbox without
any problem.
If you are experiencing any problems or issues with your
zoom email account please notify us immediately by replying
to this email. Alternatively, please contact our zoom
support desk.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience
this necessary system upgrade has caused.
Kind regards
Zoom Customer Services
Also, our ISP inform us that they have have withdrawn the "experimental" multiple e-mail
addresses (nice of them not to tell us they were going to do so first), so there is now just one e-mail
address for all correspondence;
nineladies@zoom.co.uk is the new address and we are changing all
our links to point to this. But there are bound to be a few we've missed - if you spot one, let us know!
