SITE UPDATE 09.07.2000

If you've recently subscribed - hello and welcome to the mailing list! To everyone else - yes, the list is still alive ..... and growing .....

A couple of minor improvements to the web site, by request. Firstly the Stuff We Need section has been "sobered up" (approximately one item in three used to be booze; somebody obviously can't take a joke, and complained). Also we have taken the opportunity to shift the more fancy items to their own section. Otherwise the list hasn't changed much (probably because it was so comprehensive in the first place), but for the latest news on what we need and what we have plenty of, or if you have something not on the list but that you think we could use, call the site mobile.

We've also had calls for improved directions to the site. Due to limited resources, we do rather have to rely on people who have visited the site from anywhere except Derby to give us directions from there. So if you have found your way to the camp from somewhere not listed, please e-mail details to directions@nineladies.zoom.co.uk and we'll add them for the benefit of others. In the meantime, we have found a mapping service that includes a quite detailed map of the local area, as well as a road map showing the general area. You can find links to these maps on the Getting to the Camp Site page.

Finally, there will soon be a new mobile phone number for the camp site. Unfortunately, we at Web HQ don't know when or what - just that it won't be on Orange 'cause their coverage is lousy. We've been advised that the old number will stay active for awhile anyway; as soon as the new number is available we will update the web site and post a mailout. You can find the most up-to-date number for the site on the contacts page.
