You may have noticed we've been having a few problems with e-mail lately. We have contacted our ISP
about this. Although we have not received an individual reply, we guess it might have something to do with
the following e-mail, which arrived today:
TO:
zoom-members@zoom.co.uk
SUBJECT:
zoom mailserver upgrade - important message
Dear Zoom User,
On Monday night, 9/10/2000, we are migrating to a new,
faster, mail server.
As a result, you may be unable to access your existing
Inbox email until the 11th of October.
Be assured that you will NOT lose any of the contents as
all the inboxes will be migrated to new server by
11/10/2000 and you will STILL have access to all new mail
received during this period.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience during
this necessary system upgrade.
We'll let everyone know when the new server is up and running properly, or if our problem is unrelated.
In the meantime, our temporary e-mail address is still
nineladies@groundfloor.adyx.co.uk - send anything to
this same address and we'll work out what it's about.
