Javea's Restaurants (From Tapas to fish + chips.)

Fluido Paseo Arenal, near middle.	Good sized Italian restaurant/bar, with interesting terrace on beach. Very 'different' menu , not expensive. Menu del dia is good value , wine extra!	Open - from 9.00 pm 'til Late... closed Tuesdays ) in winter at least. Specialities: Seems to me like good, classy home cooked food. I try to eat here once a week. Service: Quite good, multilingual. Don't let the lovely waitress get confused.
Scallops Paseo Arenal, southern end.	Double sized english 'good value' restaurant. Large terrace with view of Arenal bay. Very successful, very well decorated. And, yes, fish and chips! But very good! I normally get in here once a week too!	Open - About mid-day 'til 11.00 pm Specialities: Good English style cooking. 3 level set menus, with many choices. Service: Very good considering the size. Staff mostly english, but Spanish also spoken.
Tertulia Old town, square below church/town hall.	Good sized bar/restaurant with tables in square. Live music weekends in the summer. Good, home style, Spanish cooking. Rice dishes the speciality. Very popular, so may be best to book.	Open - 9.00 am - 3.00 pm / 6.00pm - 1.00 am Specialities: All those delicious rice dishes . Paella, Arroz a banda, etc. Also many freshly prepared tapas. Service: Good. Friendly family atmosphere Friendly, multilingual staff.
Bar Paco Old town Small road opposite exit from Mercadona.	Medium sized bar/restaurant. Busy every lunchtime. Paco's wife sorts out the cooking. Excellent! They say this is the 'original' Jávea tapas bar. Very popular, so may be best to book.	Open - 9.00 am - 1.00 am Specialities: Tapas and more tapas. All fresh! Just ask for Juan's recommendations. And trust him! Excellent midday menu. Service: Good. Friendly atmosphere. Sometimes typically loud, in a nice friendly Spanish way.
