This is a site dedicated to the glamorous and exciting images featured in books and magazines of the 1950s and 1960s.

In those days books really did sell by their covers and my particular favourites were always those with good looking women or heroic war pictures. When you got real lucky, they had both.

This is not a site for nudity and pornography so if you are looking for that, move along.

What follows is a selection of postcards, paper back novels and magazine covers. It's a random selection with no real rhyme or reason to the order.
