As one of only three
Patient's who were interviewed face to face by CHI, I will be discussing
with my Solicitors and my MP how best to take forward my concerns over
the omissions and serious detail inaccuracies within the report.
As one person has commented
"Where's the rest
of it?"
Another survivor stated
"I've been used to
selectively bolster the statistics. My actions to bring (Dr Green) to
the attention of the authorities in 1983, 1985, 1990, 1993, 1995 and 1997
have all been left out, as have the variety of responses I received to
my claims. CHI found no evidence to support my claims so have ignored
them dispite me making documentation available to them. This makes it
the fourth investigation I have contributed to and I'm yet to have my
experience formerly acknowledged or validated."
The CHI Report is a long report to reverse engineer and
to find the story contained within it.
It entails chronologically logging every date, then building up a picture
of what was really happening.
Following that, a check for inconsistencies within the report, and a
cross referencing with press reports from the trial.
There are then further statements and dates from survivors and other
parties to add.

in a plain english type of style.
There's only me working on it, and it's quite tiring, so please be patient.
However from my initial work to date, I guarantee that plenty of
surprises await.
Guiding Principle 1:
Recognising that for some patients and their families it will be painful to talk about the issue under investigation, the interviewees will be organised to make the meetings as comfortable as possible. Counselling support will be available after the meetings.
'(section 2.39) On 14 July 1997, because of the partners’ growing concern, a practice partner made a search of Peter Green’s consulting room during his absence on leave. The practice partner was subsequently joined by another partner on a second search. Papers were found relating to 200-250 patients, including psychological interventions and back project consultations.'
Remember that these papers were for Green's own private use. I would like to know what other information is in Green's Catalogue of Corruption. I'm curious to know the date that these 'papers' were recorded from. It's one Survivors assertion that these 'papers' are in fact a cardex system which Green kept seperate coded medical notes in.
Below is an extract of a letter received by him from the wife of the GP which confirms the contact. This was made available to CHI though they made no reference to this abuse which was prior to 1985.
Dear (Survivors name),
If (survivor) received anything but friendly and good advice when he approached
(my husband a Loughborough GP) shortly after the incidents, then it would
be as much as (my husband a Loughborough GP) would have
been able to give at that time, and in the position he was in. He believes
he told (survivor) to approach the Senior Partner of Dr. Greens practice.
That would have been absolutely the correct thing to do. If you expected
that (my husband a Loughborough GP) would have felt it the right and proper
thing to do to have approached Dr Green himself, then I have to tell you
that no professional colleague would ever have put himself in such a position
unless he was working already in a partneship with an individual about
whom a very serious charge was being made.
To blame (my husband a Loughborough GP) now is as bad as anyone blaming
you for waiting ten years before you yourself complained about Dr. Green.
