is an online high bandwidth documentary project. Inspired by 'Last Chance
to See' h2g2.action brings you the latest news, features and evidence about
three of the world's most endangered species.
h2g2
takes the enduringly popular fiction of the original Hitchhiker's Guide the
Galaxy and makes it real, creating a collaborative on-line Guide to Life,
the Universe and Everything.
From
1995 to 1998, I ran my own new media company called lush. I produced both
independent work as well as specific commissions.
A
point-and-click adventure game, it is stocked with beautifully observed characters.
Your mission is to blag your way from the Titanic's steerage to first class
by puzzle-solving and verbal interaction with the characters.
I only recently realised
how much I define myself by my work. I am lucky, I get great pleasure from
what I do and those I meet.
I remain fascinated with
computers and how they can reinforce the possibilities of play, exploration
and involvement for all of us.
I know technology is
more fun to make than it is to watch.
I believe in the power
of stories, and that each generation has the opportunity to re-discover and
re-tell the same eternal tales. This is ours.

'Gaming
for grown ups' best describes the fundamental principle of Dreamer. Essentially
a platform game, Dreamer builds an interactive fictional world that combines
high action, absorbing game play with emotional drama.
I
was Production Director at Zone (UK) Ltd., my responsibilities ranged from
producing the original Vid Zone consoles to contributions to UnZip (the UK's
first CD-ROM magazine) published in 1995.
