Dreamer is a project currently in development, we will be taking the demo out to publishers in 2001 for further funding.
It will be a game with a difference. From the first moment I saw it I knew I was looking at a new type of experience, one that closely meshed story and gameplay to create a dramatic emotional engagement within a magical world.
I believe that people will always want to surrender their attention to another's vision and that wherever interactivity takes us, the power of the story-teller to address our human self remains sacrosanct.
When I talk about game as story, I don't mean branched narrative or wide-option based experiences, I mean immersion through deep involvement in a great story.
I believe there needs to be an independent publishing channel encouraged in the games industry, one that encourages and allows for different types of experience and player.
I hope this will be built on the internet.
