In the writing process, feedback is vital to keep you going to the end. As you know, writing can be a lonely business. Encouragement, support, honest appraisal – these can be hard to find!

Friends are just that – and they usually tell you your book’s great because they don’t want to spoil that beautiful friendship! Of course, they may not know all that much about writing anyway, only what they enjoy reading.

So … where do you go? The local writer’s circle? But that’s a group and maybe there’s not enough time for you (without hogging the floor). Someone might steal your idea, or there’s a bit of jealousy in the air… so you feel uncomfortable and don’t ask for the help you need.

It takes a writer to help a writer!
