As many of you know, 69 year old David Hellens endeavoured to make a sponsored walk of the 400 mile Pyrenees this summer. Regrettably after displaying great courage and determination, David, in his third week of the challenge, had to reluctantly terminate his walk due to the resurgence of a serious arthritic condition in his knee. We are thrilled to advise that over £6,000 (including Gift Aid) has been given in sponsorship for David. Thank you for your generosity.
