The only child of Ira and Sheila Rosenberg, Willow has been a much loved character on Buffy since day one.  And what's not to love?  She's one hell of a chick.  As I am fond of saying 'Willow's the greatest thing ever!'  Ahem, apart from MKF of course :-)  Willow was introduced to the whole Vampire Slaying gig in the very first episode Welcome to the Hellmouth.  Her main skills in the early days were her off-the-chart smartness and computer hacking abilities.  From about season three onwards though, she established herself as a witchy girl.  She had a massive crush on childhood friend Alexander (Xander) Harris.  They used to date but they broke up after the insensitive Mr Harris stole her Barbie!  Anyway, after he started dating Cordelia she got together with ultra cool guitarist Oz who also happened to be a werewolf.  However, Oz left in the early part of season 4 to "control the wolf" leaving Willow heartbroken.  Cue  Tara.   Willow met Tara in Hush.  She was the only actual witch in Willow's wicca group and the first time they did a spell together sparks were flyin'.  Of course our two wicca buddies fell in love (awww) - so much so that when Oz returned in New Moon Rising Willow actually chose to be with Tara.  This paved the way for the introduction of Miss Kitty Fantastico - the greatest thing since sliced bread.  But that is, as they say, another story...
