I know, I know. Miss Kitty has been in three eps so far (four if you count New Moon Rising where the idea of getting a cat was first entertained.) But my God, if they haven't been talking about her! :-)
Tara: Do you like cats?
Willow: I'm more of a dog person. But I'm not like 'Death to all Cats.'
I'll say she's not! Just one episode later...
Willow: I keep thinking 'Okay, that's the cutest thing ever.' And then she does something cuter and completely resets the whole scale.
All together now - "Awwww."
Tara: Did you see her yawn earlier?
Willow: Yes! I thought I was gonna die! Oh, I love you Miss Kitty Fantastico..."
Okay, are we sensing that Willow loves Miss Kitty? Yeah, me too. But lets not forget:
Willow: You cannot have more catnip. You have a catnip problem.
And of course, in Restless...
Tara: I think it's strange. I mean...I think I should worry that we haven't found her name.
Willow: Who? Miss Kitty?
Tara: You'd think she'd let us know her name by now.
Willow: She will. She's not all grown yet.
Well, well, well. I believe our feline friend is acting as a metaphor for the whole W/T relationship. And people say Miss Kitty was a minor addition. Piffle, I say. So, what's Miss Kitty's real name? In other words - Willow; gay, straight or bisexual? I'm sure she'll figure it out. But they'd better still call the cat Miss Kitty Fantastico dammit!
Update! From Family.
Tara: Once upon a time there was...
um... a kitty. She was very little, and
she was all alone and nobody wanted her.
Willow: This is a very upsetting story.
Tara: Oh, it gets better. 'Cause one day
the kitty was running around on the
street and a man came and swooped
her up and took her to the pound. And at
the pound there were lots of other
kitties, and there were puppies, and
some ferrets.
