Irene Dalziel has been the confectioner at WR & H Kelly since 1987. She took over from Lena Douglas who retired at the age of 70 after working in the shop for 34 years - since 1953! The work consists of icing buns and pastries, decoration of assorted small cakes, creaming and designing celebration and wedding cakes. |

Irene can produce any decoration specified by a customer, or if they are unsure she can create her own designs to suit the occasion. Popular designs are cartoon characters, sporting images and party themes for special birthdays. |
