Club Nights
Opening Times
The Club meets every Monday & Wednesday between 7.00pm and 10.00pm (Excluding Bank Holidays etc).
Aims/Activities
The general aim of the club nights is to construct / complete the club layouts in
readiness either for our own exhibition (Exhibition) or to take to other clubs' exhibitions.
Matters relating to the administration of the club and maintenance of the building
(Premises) are normally resolved at the
monthly committee meetings.
Do not think you have no pertinent skills - every member can contribute to the club in some way - we can all learn from each other, irrespective of age. If you do decide to join us, hopefully both parties will benefit and we can all acquire new skills. There is, however, always the opportunity to just run models or generally socialise. We try and make the club as friendly as possible and any new recruits are guaranteed a friendly welcome. Nobody is forced into joining immediately: you are welcome to come down and have a look around before deciding to whether to join us or not. Why not come and see us (Directions). The current subscriptions are as follows:
Adults £40.00
Children /OAP £20.00
Family £50.00
We try and keep the subscriptions low in the hope of introducing new members and maintaining an interest in both Railways and Model Railways within the Calderdale area. We are a member of the Railway Correspondence and Travel Society who have a range of trips and events: all our members are eligible to attend.
Committee Cycle
The Committee which is elected at the Annual General Meeting (held on the second Monday of February) meets on the second Monday of every alternate month to deal with matters pertaining to the Club.
