In 1945 Mathis produced their first 3-wheeler  the "Mathis 333" in Germany. Designed by Jean Andreau, the car was powered by a 707cc, flat twin, water-cooled engine and featured seperate radiators for each cylinder.  Externally the vehicle was very futuristic in appearance for its day. The car weighed 840 pounds (381kg) but never went into production.  Mathis ceased as a company in 1948.
