The first Goliath 3-wheeler appeared in Germany, 1931 though the company had built an experimental 4-wheeled prototype car in 1924. Goliath's first 3-wheeler; The Pioneer,  was powered by a single cylinder 2-stroke 198cc Llo engine that drove both rear wheels of the car. The Pioneer was a two seater vehicle and was manufactured until 1933 when Goliath turned to just making Goliath 4-wheeler vans.
