My thanks to Brian Radford for sending me this picture of his 1984 Reliant Rialto 2. The Rialto 2 had a "tuned high compression" engine that was recognisable by its yellow rocker cover.
This tuned versions seemed to be very short lived and production returned back to the standard engine. I always wanted one of these engines in my old Reliant. On this note Brian writes ... with a smile: ..It goes like a rocket! |
