Best Dressed Window Competition

            Throughout the year Downham Market & District Chamber of Trade arrange a number of events to promote the Town of Downham Market. They will be organising another opportunity for you to join in the Swinging Sixties September Saturday which proved so successful last year. This will be on Saturday 29th September. The Chamber of Trade also arranges a series of Best Dressed Window Competitions through the year. The Festival Competition will be taking place during Festival week for the Ivan Sneezum Trophy.

The Festival Committee hopes that many traders will again take part in this promotion of their business and that you, the public, will look around the windows of the traders in the Town and see if your decision agrees with the decision of the Judges. Remember that the theme of Festival 2001 is – DOWNHAM GOES EXPLORING.
