DERT 2003 GLASGOW April 4 - 6 2003
|
|
The competition this year will be held in pubs round Glasgow. We have made up some rules but the judges will make the final decisions. This has several advantages 1. Wide range of excellent
beers on hand at all times
1. The dance must be a rapper dance danced with swords. 2. Teams will be judged on 4 dances performed in named pubs as directed by DERT2003. Dancers may not compete for more than one side. 3. There are only two classes : Premier and Open. Premier class will consist of those teams scoring more than 80% (excluding characters) at their last DERT appearance, or at the discretion of the committee. Open class will consist of those not eligible to dance within Premier. 4. Teams are marked on the
following categories In the unlikely event of a tie in a class, or for the Steve Marris Trophy then the character marks will be added onto the score making a maximum of 110 marks. In the event of neither team having characters or a further tie then an audience vote will take place on the strength of the display dances in the evening.
This is where we list the names and designations of judges when we have twisted their arms.
