The environment is important to us all.
To provide a cleaner and better environment for both people and wildlife.
One easy way to "do your bit" is recycling, and there are 2 main ways to recycle in Burton Joyce:-

Kerbside Newspaper and Magazine Collections

This is a program run by the council. Every 2 weeks you can put your old newspapers and magazines out, and these will be collected and recycled. The material is then sorted by the Beck Meadow Centre for Adult Training.

Collections begin at 8.30am, so be sure to have your newspapers and magazines out be then. You should have received a leaflet, detailing when the collections take place. If you haven't, and would like one, you can phone Anthony Greener on 0115 901 3842.
