Skeletons are the most common type of Undead troop, and depending on the general, they will either be seen as incredibly useful or incredibly useless. Admittedly, they are individually very weak, unskilled and easy to kill, but on the positive side they are very cheap, allowing you to take large numbers of them. Also, they can be armed with a variety of equipment such as shields and spears, making them very versatile compared to troops like Ghouls. Finally, like all other Undead, they never break, and it will take even the best enemy unit a long time to slay an entire regiment of 100 skeletons!
