Tallarn Desert Raiders 95th
It is going to take me quite a while to build up this army due to the fact that my painting rate is really slow.
Commissar

The Commissar is a must for every Imperial Guard army as he is the man who keeps troops morale up and makes sure that Imperial law is followed. My Commissar is armed with a power fist and close combat weapon so that he can defend my captain in close combat against foes who are not too powerful. Commissars do have a nasty habit of shooting their superiors but I am confident that I will not need to take to many morale checks with my command HQ and they should not fail many. | ||
Infantry Command Section

This is my Infantry Command section. They command an infantry platoon in my army. They will be up close with the men as they try to take on the abominable aliens that roam the galaxy. The lieutenant is armed with a power sword and plasma pistol to take out any heavily armoured foes and the rest of his squad are armed with lasguns or assault weapons to hopefully take out the enemy. They will be a key squad in my army as the leadership bonus that the lieutenant gives his men will be very useful when they are confronted with some of the new tyranid beasts that are appearing. The squad will not be able to cope with hard combat troops like orks but should be able to take on (probably not beat but at least take on) troops from most other races. |
