Space Wolf Army

This army represents a small force which has been detached from the main chapter on Fenris, to deal with a small threat to the superiority of man.

Tactical Marines

Tactical Marines make up the bulk of all Space Marine Infantry. They are better than average, due to their genetic modifications and armour, but are consequently more expensive. Their normal weapon is the trusty bolter, but they may also carry more exotic heavy and special weapons like flamers and heavy bolters. Combined with a sergeant to lead them, they can hold their own in the centre of the Space Wolf battle line.

Blood Claws

Blood Claws are the elite assault troops available to the Space Wolves chapter. They all carry two close combat weapons, and this sergeant also has a power fist, to crush almost any opponent. They form a deadly strikeforce, who are heavily armoured enough to be able to rush froward and take an objective, or can wait behind, ready to counter-attack if the enemy attack to strongly. Used correctly, Blood Claws can turn the tide of army battle back into the Space Wolves favour.

Björn the Fell-handed

All Space Marines glorify their brothers who have fallen in battle, and there is no higher honour for a mortally wounded marine than being given a Dreadnaught to command. This one represents the special character Björn the Fell-handed, who still carries the massive close combat claw that he used while he was an ordinary marine. He now also has the benefit of a deadly assault cannon, which can rake through ranks of lightly armoured infantry. His thick armour also offers reasonable protection from most weapons.

Predator Annihilator

Somewhat strangely, this army has a Predator as its main heavy support choice, despite the fact that Space Wolves are allowed to take Leman Russ battle tanks, thanks to the fact that Russ himself is their Primarch. The Predator is really a medium level tank. Its weapons are not particularly good, nor is it very heavily armoured. However, this means it is relatively cheap compared to larger tanks.
