Tau Snippet
Apparently, very little has been heard of them as they've only met with the Imperial Guard a few times in battle (although I guess that changes with the Codex) and that the Imperium doesn't yet consider them a major threat. Their weapons are apparently in line with those from the Dark Age of Technology though, so maybe their numbers are few so that their technological advantage is counter balanced.
Cadian Plastics
For those of you who're wondering when or indeed if we might see the long rumoured new Cadian plastics, rumour currently has it that we might be seeing them as early as next April.
New Sisters
I recenty received the rumour that they (Sisters of Battle) are due around Spring 2002 and will apparently include new choices like militias and will also include most of the Heroes of the Imperium list.
Codex Armoured Company
A new codex called "Codex Armoured Company" is apparently due for release for the Imperal Guard, although i'm not sure if this is the same as the Codex with rules for Forge World tanks (Imperial Armour). The army will be able to take mechanised infantry, and one of the troop choices will be 1 to 3 Leman Russ Tanks, although my source tells me you might be able to do the same with Basilisks.
Tank Commanders will also be available (meaning the tank has BS 4) and there will even apparently be Commissars in tanks. Now that'd be intersting.
Necron Revamp
One source tells me that judging by the few Necron miniatures on show at Games Day Australia, they've been slightly revamped in the visuals department. Generally they apparently look a little thinner with some of their faces looking "positively daemonic" as my source put it. While it seems like they aren't due out for a good while, I'm told they're already looking great at this stage.
