Stolen NCF Blitz 2


On the night of Friday 4th June 2004 my NCF Blitz 2 kit car was stolen from near Thatcham, Berkshire.
 
There are not that many of the kit cars in existence and also plenty of distinguishing features that this one had. I'm going to put as much detail as I can on this page in the hopes that someone comes across it.
 
MG Metro 1275 engine fitted with stage 3 head
Custom made exhaust manifold attached to an R1 motorcycle exhaust
Agricultural style remote air filter
Ultimate engine steady and dual gearbox steadies fitted to the rear of the subframe
Metro hubs/4 pot brakes at the back and mini hubs/2 pot calipers on the front
12R155 Maxsport Hakka tyres on mini classic rims (see above photo)
Cobra (Imola?) vinyl covered seat & TRS 4 point harness
Side protection bars and rear nerf bar
Dark blue front & side panels. "fuddy mucker", chequered pattern and race number 18
White 12" radius panels for race numbers
Mini three gauge instruments
Datatool RevLight bar graph tacho
Microdynamics electronic rev limiter
Blue anodised sparco pedals
Unusual centrally mounted steering wheel & linkage to a steering rack on the nearside
Bash plate to protect gear linkage made from ali chequer plate
