Barnstaple, the capital town and commercial center of North Devon, England. Current population is estimated in the region of 24,000 and is rapidly growing as new businesses are brought into the area. The last few years have seen great changes in this town, with the introduction of new business parks, shops and more people we are seeing changes in the night scene too.

This new website has been set up to promote the rapidly changing nightlife in Barnstaple.

In recent years we have seen many changes relating to the nightlife. Many pubs and clubs have been recently renovated and re-opened as new venues, and fresh establishments have been opened up.

We are aiming to develop this website to encourage this continued growth and development of the night time activity.

Articles will be posted, written about the nightlife and we are appealing for anyone who would like to donate stories to be published on the world-wide-web. This could be an ideal opportunity for you to get your work published, if for example you are studying Media Studies or a similar course.

The Gig Guide is designed to tell everyone about the gigs around the town on a weekly basis. If you are in a band, or are a DJ, or know of any gigs that are not mentioned, please inform us, or they will not be included.
